Condoms are mortally important in Uganda, where the HIV/AIDS epidemic has been raging for two decades. Uganda also has one of the highest fertility rates in the world (5.6 pregnancies per woman) with a very high rate of teen pregnancy, due in large part to the Anglican and Catholic church's taboo against condoms.
